Studio-free product photography for marketplace sellers
A studio-free product-photo pipeline for Wildberries, Ozon and Yandex Market sellers — scenes, copy and short video from a single upload.
Context
A marketplace card lives or dies on its media, but a photo studio does not scale to thousands of SKUs or survive weekly assortment changes. Sellers on Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex Market and Megamarket are stuck between expensive shoots that cannot keep pace with the catalog and flat phone photos that do not convert.
Chaos Carta reframes the problem as production rather than photography: a single reference upload becomes a complete marketplace card — product imagery, advertising scenes, listing copy and short video — produced to each marketplace's specification.
Approach
The pipeline is deliberately split into a volatile half and a fixed half. Generation — image and video models — is the volatile half: models improve, get replaced, change providers. Card templates and export presets are the fixed half: they encode composition, typography and per-marketplace formatting rules that must not drift. Because the templates own the look, the catalog stays visually consistent even as the models underneath are swapped.
That separation is also what makes the product operable at catalog scale: a seller's assortment changes weekly, and re-running generation against stable templates is cheap, while re-designing cards is not.
How the pipeline works
A seller uploads one reference shot of the product. The generation layer produces studio-style product imagery and advertising scenes from it; the same reference drives a short product video, so the card's full media set comes from one input rather than a shoot.
In parallel, an LLM writes the listing description from the product context — category, attributes, the seller's tone — so the copy matches the generated media instead of being pasted in from a separate process. The template layer assembles imagery, scenes, copy and video into a card, and export presets format the result to the target marketplace's requirements.
Key engineering details
Consistency is enforced structurally, not by prompt discipline: templates pin the elements a marketplace card cannot afford to vary — framing, text zones, badge placement — so a batch of a hundred SKUs reads as one brand. Export presets encode each of the four marketplaces' media requirements once, and every card inherits them.
The same pipeline runs in white-label mode: an agency serving marketplace sellers puts its own branding over the templates while the generation and export machinery stays shared.
Outcome & what shipped
Chaos Carta shipped as a standalone product direction with four delivery formats: turnkey card production, studio-free AI photoshoots, batch content runs across a full catalog, and a white-label service for content agencies. Planned next: per-marketplace validation of exported media and a batch mode for full-catalog runs.
